Immigration Consultation &
Service Fees
Clear fees for RCIC consultations, pathway assessments, application review, and full representation. Transparent pricing before you book.
We publish fees so you can decide with clear expectations. Final representation fees for complex matters are confirmed in writing after a review of your situation.
All professional services are delivered or supervised directly by a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC – R515705). Available in English, French, and Chinese.
How we work with different levels of complexity
Many clients already know their pathway and need careful preparation and representation. Others face a refusal, a status gap, or a timing problem. Both are part of this practice; a short assessment helps us recommend the right next step.
What does not change is the standard: every file is reviewed directly by a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (R515705). Experience with complex timing, pathway conflicts, and remediation informs how we handle simpler retainers as well — fewer assumptions, clearer document strategy, and fewer avoidable errors.
Straightforward files: eligibility confirmation, complete preparation, submission, and follow-up.
Complex files: sequencing, status risk, refusals, and multi-step TR → PR planning.
You do not need to decide whether your matter is “simple” or “complex” before contacting us. A preliminary assessment is enough to point you to the right step.
Consultations & Strategy
Pathway & Risk Assessment — Starting at $550 CAD
A structured comparison of viable options, eligibility confirmation, and a recommended path forward — scaled to the complexity of your file.
Suitable if you:
Need professional validation of borderline or evolving eligibility
Are choosing between two or more pathways (e.g., Express Entry vs. PNP)
Have prior refusals, procedural fairness letters, or multiple interacting factors (employment, status, family coordination, cross-border issues)
Need contingency planning under tight timelines
What's included: A clear comparison and strategy roadmap to support informed decision-making. Straightforward files start at $550; complex files (previous refusals, multi-stage planning, high-risk factors) are quoted individually after we review your situation.
Free first step vs paid work
The preliminary assessment is free. It helps us understand your situation and goals, whether we are a good fit, and which service and fee make sense for you. If you prefer not to use the form, email at info@mapleavesimm.com with a summary of your situation and expectation.
Consultations, formal pathway assessments, audits, and representation are paid services, you will be invoiced before we begin that work.
Strategic Consultation — $350 CAD (60 minutes, virtual)
Full discussion for clearer direction, pathway considerations, and recommended next steps.
Best when you need orientation or are comparing options.
Available in English, French, and Mandarin.
A focused 1-on-1 discussion to address specific questions about pathways, eligibility, timing, or policy changes before you take major steps.
Suitable if you want clarity on viable immigration options, have questions about timing or eligibility, or need a professional second opinion.
Focused Clarification Call — $175 CAD (30 minutes, virtual)
Direct answers to your specific immigration questions.
Best when you already know what you need to ask.
Does not include eligibility review, document assessment, or a strategy roadmap.
Available in English, French, and Mandarin.
What consultations include: discussion of your goals, realistic pathway options, and recommended next steps—not full application preparation or IRCC representation unless separately retained.
Credit: The consultation fee is credited toward Full Application Representation if you retain that service within 60 days of the consultation (cannot be combined with other discounts unless agreed in writing).
Limited reduced-rate consultations
In limited cases, current students or people between jobs may request a shorter, reduced-rate consultation. This is offered as a form of access to regulated advice, not as a standing discount.
Email us before booking with a one-line summary of your question. We will confirm if a reduced-rate slot is available.
Application support
Situation
A couple living together in Canada believed they had largely completed their sponsorship application—forms and many supporting documents—and needed only limited help to file. They planned an Inland application, which they assumed was the best option in their circumstances.
Strategy
A full review showed the file was still far from complete, with critical supporting evidence and foundational documents missing. We helped them rebuild the missing materials. We also compared Inland and Outland using IRCC’s published processing times at that time, which showed a difference of more than 12 months. After weighing the advantages and disadvantages for their specific situation, we advised pivoting to an Outland application.
Outcome
By correcting both the pathway choice and the completeness of the file before submission, the couple avoided filing an incomplete Inland application that carried a higher risk of delay or refusal, and obtained the Conformation of Permanent Residence (COPR) within a substantially shorter processing time.
Illustrative example only; IRCC decides each application on its own facts.

How to start
Book a consultation if you already know you need a live discussion.
Preliminary assessment (free intake form) if you want a recommended next step first.
For complex files (refusal, multi-province, business), we may recommend a Pathway & Risk Assessment before full representation.
While we cannot guarantee specific outcomes, we are fully committed to working toward the best possible result for you.
For Employer

Full Application Preparation & Representation — Typically starting at $2,000 CAD
End-to-end professional support, including document strategy, application preparation, submission, and communication with IRCC.
Note on pricing: Standard files generally start at $2,000 CAD. Complex files (involving prior refusals, status gaps, or extensive documentation) are quoted individually after an initial assessment or consultation.
Family Add-Ons
The base fee covers the Principal Applicant. Family members can be added to the application for the following professional fees:
Adding a Spouse or Common-Law Partner: +$300 CAD
Adding a Dependent Child: +$150 CAD per child
(Note: Government processing fees and biometrics for family members are separate and paid directly to IRCC).
Case example: Strategic pathway correction (spousal/common-law sponsorship — full representation)
Pre-Submission Application Review (DIY Audit) — Starting at $550 CAD
Professional review of a self-prepared application before submission.
We examine forms, supporting documents, and overall consistency to identify common refusal triggers such as eligibility issues, disclosure gaps, or documentation problems.
Note on pricing: Pricing varies by program (e.g., Express Entry vs. Spousal Sponsorship). This service does not include ongoing representation or direct submission unless separately retained.
Case example: Pre-submission risk mitigation (Express Entry)
Situation
A couple who had self-prepared their Express Entry permanent residence application booked a Pre-Submission Application Review (DIY Audit). They believed the file was ready to submit and wanted a final check.
Strategy
The review identified material gaps and inconsistencies, including missing supporting documents and information that did not align across forms that presented a serious risk of refusal and, if left unaddressed, potential misrepresentation concerns. We set out the issues in writing and guided them on how to correct the gaps before submission.
Outcome
They remedied the issues and submitted a complete and more consistent application, avoiding a filing that carried a high risk of refusal based on the problems identified at review.
Illustrative example only; processing times change and outcomes depend on the facts of each case.
